Victor's competition

Since the season 2007-2008, our top Belgian national competition has finally found the sponsorship and organisation structure it deserves. Our top league will from now on be called: Victor League. Victor will not only provide us with the shuttles for the Victor League (Victor Service shuttles) but also with a total prize money of EUR 2.000. The winner of the competition will be rewarded with a cheque of EUR 1.000, the runner-up with a cheque of EUR 700 and the bronze medal will receive a cheque of EUR 300. If the winner of the Victor League would be a Flemish Team, the VBL will still foresee a subsidy for the participation to the Europe Cup amounting to at least EUR 500. Furthermore, Victor will also foresee polo shirts for our umpires who are from this year of present at all matches in the Victor League. The competition is placed with all 8 teams in the same hall on 7 weekends throughout the season. The play-offs and play-downs will be played on 16 March 2008 in Kortrijk, on 29 March 2008 in Mechelen and on 26 April 2008 in Mont-Saint-Guibert.
